Over the past few years I have been frustrated with U.S. government and politics.  I  heard arguments that didn’t make sense and saw things happen that seemed to cause more problems.

I wasn’t at all interested in politics until September 11, 2001 when I spent the entire day glued to the TV set in order that I understand and get to know why there was a terrorist attack on the twin towers in New York and why 4 planes in total were hijacked to use in the attack on the east coast.

I remember going to see a client a few days later and he told me that no matter what will happen with Osama Bin Ladin or Al Qaeda the focus will be back on Saddam Hussein soon enough.  At the time I didn’t know what that client was referring to especially since the U.S. government and media outlets only referred to Osama Bin Ladin or Al Qaeda.

As history has shown a whole lot of time has been spent on Saddam Hussein and Iraq.  There have been many accusations and excuses for why the U.S. went to Iraq.  Most were lies or failed attempts to legitimize military actions in Iraq.

I was sure when G.W.Bush left office things would have to get better in the U.S.  How could they get worse?  I suppose anything is possible.  Now I want to get involved instead of watch and criticize in the safety and ease of my home.
